A Survery on Mother¢¥s Attitudes toward Immunization

Abstract
Clinical studies were made on the 300 cases were seen at the Maryknoll Hospital NVell-baby clinic between July 1, 1973 to September 30, 1973 for 3 months duration regarding the mother¢¥s an attitudes and understanding of the immunization program.
The results are as follow;
1) Mother¢¥s attitudes and understanding of immunization ranges from good to poor about
measles, B.C.G., smalloox and D.P.T., measles rating good, and progressing down to D.P.T. as poor.
2) The mothers knowledge of the immunization program was in direct proportion to her educational background.
3) Mothers having 3 or 4 babies generally knew more than mothers having 1 or 2 babies.
4) Mothers of 20^35 years of age generally knew more than mothers who were over 35 years of age.
5) Mothers who delivered in the hospital knew much more than those who delivered at home.
